The U.S. military’s next GPS navigation satellite is ready for launch from Cape Canaveral at 9:43 p.m. EDT Friday (0143 GMT Saturday) aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket. SpaceX plans to recover the rocket’s first stage on an offshore drone ship to fly again in 2021 with the next GPS satellite.
